The CIAA conference this year was held in Melbourne with a theme of Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Notice..
The conference was well represented with over 400 delegates and some very informative and interesting Key Note speakers, most notably Ben Roberts-Smith who’s bravery is well documented.
Dan Crowley another candidate for the brave category, he had an incredible experience of being an undercover police agent and at the same time representing Australia in Rugby.
Eddie McGuire (To be Bold) gave us an insight into the world of being the president of the Collingwood Football Club and has been instrumental in turning the club into one of the most powerful sporting clubs in the world.
To be noticed, Duane Knapp is a branding guru with many years experience with some of the worlds best known brands. He is in Australia to assist in a brand strategy for Tourism Events QLD.
There was a lot of positive feed back from the CIAA conference with our industry being in very good shape.
It is worth a considerable amount of revenue to our economy, an interesting point is every 5th working person in Australia is directly involved with the tourism industry.
The future looks bright for Caravan/Holiday Parks as they and the rest of the industry will benefit from a low Aussie Dollar (this will make overseas travel less attractive but on the same token will be attractive for overseas tourists to want to visit Australia).
With the drop in fuel prices what better way to see Australia than staying in our Caravan/Holiday Parks.
SO BE BOLD, BE BRAVE AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOTICED.
